As our economy remains in a recession where job and business security is a thing of the past, so is the industry of music. Over the last two decades the music industry and the artists within this industry have become an endangered species.
One major concern is for the young and upcoming talent that dedicate themselves to aspire in becoming recognized, respected, and financially rewarded. In the past a talented artist would be signed on into the industry and be compensated for their hard work and God given talent. Unfortunately today, the truth is our young and aspiring talent is at risk for being exploited in this industry and can only become recognized with little compensation. The second issue is the music industry as a whole. The entire market of music and entertainment has become a market where all genres are struggling to maintain and survive.
The mission for C& C Enterprises is to help our young and aspiring talent find a safe haven that provides them a start in this ever changing industry. We believe that we can make a difference by providing a credible avenue for our strong local talent, which will also help maintain a pulse of survival within the music and entertainment industry, a vital component to every household and generation. Our goal in this venue is to showcase true aspiring performers and provide an access road to a professional career. We have gained support for this event and continue to look to formulate ongoing partnerships within our local community.
